utheran Campus Ministries has been in the Western New York area for over forty years and is a joint ministry of local congregations (both the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America). The Mission of Lutheran Campus Ministries is to witness to the presence and power of God in Christ on campus! Lutheran Campus Ministries believes in the importance of sharing the Gospel to those on the college and university campuses on the Niagara Frontier. In faith, by the power of the Holy Spirit, LCM seeks to serve others and provide a ministry of Word and Sacrament with the specific purpose of continually increasing the number of students who are supported and nurtured by the Gospel. LCM also recognizes the significance of vocation in the lives of all Christians. According to Rev. Dr. Martin Luther, vocation is lived out in four dimensions: in our chosen field of work, in our families or personal lives, in church and in community. Lutheran Campus Ministries seeks to help students make career and personal choices in light of their vocation from God.    In addition, Lutheran Campus Ministries aims to challenge students (faculty and administration) to integrate faith into their academic and professional pursuits.  Finally, Lutheran Campus Ministries makes a covenant with the students to provide a safe and nurturing environment centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and surrounded by fellowship and fun!
